Possibilities

The VicoHome VH-DB1 displays images in Full HD 2048 x 1536 resolution. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, providing a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness. The IR lighting has a range of five meters. The camera has a 2.8 mm lens with a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees. The VicoHome VH-DB1 has smart functionalities such as motion detection and a Passive Infrared (PIR) detector. The camera is able to distinguish the movements of people from animals. Motion alerts can be set to preference.

The camera works with the English-language VicoHome app for iOS and Android. The camera comes with free cloud storage to consult the events. The recording will be overwritten after 3 days or 1GB recording. The application makes it possible to communicate with the person who rings the doorbell and to view detected images. The free subscription also includes an app notification in case of movement. There is also cloud-based AI analysis of images and larger storage available via a paid subscription. Uploaded event recordings are then analyzed in real-time to detect pets, vehicles or packages and the camera user will only be notified of those events for which notification is required. The VicoHome VH-DB1 has an IP65 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. In addition, the doorbell has a tamper protection. The smart doorbell can be powered by the 8V to 24V volt power supply of the traditional doorbell or by the 5200 mAh battery. The battery has an estimated life of five months with standard use. The battery is charged by a supplied Micro-USB cable.

The included chime has options for five different ringtones and a maximum sound level of 85 dB can be muted if necessary. The sounds can be set to any desired volume level and muted if necessary. The gong requires a continuous 5V power supply. This item is very easy to install on the supplied mounting brackets. A bracket is included to place the camera diagonally upwards and a bracket to place the bell at an angle. A clear manual in English and German is also included.
