Description

The WL4 RPRO-QR-MF is a built-in card or tag reader and QR code reader for indoor use.

The reader has a Wiegand, USB and RS485 output and must be powered with 12VDC. An adapter is not included. A suitable power supply is included under the 'Options' tab that can be ordered.

In addition to 13.56Mhz Mifare cards, tags, stickers, the RPRO-QR-MF also reads QR codes.
It is therefore possible to generate a QR code in an access control system or, for example, to convert a (user) number into a QR code. This can be done with an online tool on the internet. The QR code can then be printed or sent to a smartphone, for example. By holding the print or smartphone with the QR code in front of the reader, an electric lock can be unlocked or any other device that is controlled via a controller (with Wiegang input) can be switched.

So the reader has no own NO/NC switching relay and must be connected to a controller that can, for example, process a Wiegang input. The reader can be mounted in a universal rectangular 86mm flush-mounted box.
