De Dahua IPC-HDW2531T-ZS-S2 is een Full HD 5MP Starlight buiten eyeball camera met IR nachtzicht, gemotoriseerde varifocale lens, vandaalbestendig, 120dB WDR en microSD opname. De camera moet worden gebruikt met de Dahua SmartPSS en Toolbox software en de Dahua DMSS app.

De Dahua IPC-HDW2531T-ZS-S2 geeft beelden weer in een Full HD 2592×1944 resolutie. De camera heeft een ingebouwd automatisch IR-cut filter en is daarmee een echte dag/nacht camera. De camera heeft Dahua Starlight Technologie waardoor deze ideaal is voor toepassingen met uitdagende licht condities. Door de zeer lichtgevoelige beeldsensor levert de camera met een minimum aan omgevingslicht nog bruikbaar kleurenbeeld, zelfs bij bijna volledige duisternis (0.008 lux). De camera beschikt over een gemotoriseerde varifocale lens.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded for free from the Dahua website. The “Documentation” tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The Dahua IPC-HDW2531T-AS-S2 has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12VDC power adapter. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and therefore very suitable for placing vertically against a wall.
