The X-Security XSC-IPT957VAH-5E is a Full HD 5 megapixel eyeball camera with IR night vision, varifocal lens, built-in microphone, PoE power supply and is suitable for indoors or outdoors. IP cameras from the XSC series are very budget-friendly cameras with good application options due to, among other things, simple integration with Dahua and X-Security recorders, software and mobile app.

Possibilities

The X-Security XSC-IPT957VAH-5E displays images in a Full HD 2592×1944 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of up to 40 meters. The camera has Digital Wide Dynamic Range (DWDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

With the adjustable 2.7 to 13.5mm varifocal lens it is possible to manually focus the camera on a distant image or a nearby image. The angle of view varies by zooming in and out. The varifocal lens and focus can be adjusted manually on the camera. Because it is not a motorized varifocal lens, remote zoom with software or an app is not possible. The camera has a built-in microphone.

De XSC-IPT957VAH-5E camera beschikt over bewegingsdetectie en line crossing detectie en kunnen een email sturen ingeval van detectie. De XSC-serie hanteert het ONVIF protocol voor een goede integratie met producten van andere merken die ook het ONVIF protocol hanteren. Beelden kunnen onder meer worden opgeslagen op een Netwerk Video Recorder (NVR) van onder meer het merk Dahua, X-Security, Hikvision HiWatch, Safire en UniView.

Configuratie kan vanaf de NVR (met een aangesloten monitor of TV met HDMI) of een PC. Beelden kunnen worden bekeken met een PC, een mobile app op een smartphone of tablet of op een monitor of TV aan de NVR. Onder het tabblad “Documentatie” is een gedetailleerde handleiding voor het verbinden met NVR’s opgenomen. De camera beschikt niet over de mogelijkheid om in de camera op te nemen op een microSD geheugenkaart.

Free Apple iOS and Android apps are available for the XSC series cameras. The XSC series works with the DMSS app from Dahua and EasyView from Safire. Connection is possible based on the IP address and any port forwarding in the router. Danale's app makes a simple connection possible by scanning a QR code. Paid cloud storage can also be chosen in the Danale app.

Installation

De XSC-IPT957VAH-5E heeft een IP66 rating waardoor de camera uitermate geschikt is voor gebruik buiten. De camerabehuizing is van metaal. Voor installatiegemak kan de camera via de netwerkkabel worden gevoed met Power over Ethernet (standaard 802.3af POE). PoE kan worden verkregen door een PoE NVR, een PoE switch of met een PoE injector. De camera kan ook worden gevoed met een optionele 12V voeding adapter.

Onder het tabblad “Opties” kan worden aangegeven of een adapter en/of montagebeugel moet worden meegeleverd. De camera is ook geschikt om verticaal tegen een wand te plaatsen. Er is Windows software beschikbaar om de camera op te zoeken in het netwerk en de netwerkinstellingen te configureren. Onder het tabblad “Documentatie” is de download voor de software en een webbrowser plugin opgenomen.
