The X-Security IP cameras from the XSC series are very budget-friendly cameras with good application options due to, among other things, simple integration with Dahua and X-Security recorders, software and mobile app.

Possibilities

The X-Security XSC-IPT821AH-5E displays images in a Full HD 2592×1944 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of up to 30 meters. The camera has Digital Wide Dynamic Range (DWDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights. The camera has a 3.6mm fixed lens and a built-in microphone.

Configuratie kan vanaf de NVR (met een aangesloten monitor of TV met HDMI) of een PC. Beelden kunnen worden bekeken met een PC, een mobile app op een smartphone of tablet of op een monitor of TV aan de NVR. Onder het tabblad “Documentatie” is een gedetailleerde handleiding voor het verbinden met NVR’s opgenomen. De camera beschikt niet over de mogelijkheid om in de camera op te nemen op een microSD geheugenkaart.

Free Apple iOS and Android apps are available for the XSC series cameras. The XSC series works with the DMSS app from Dahua and EasyView from Safire. Connection is possible based on the IP address and any port forwarding in the router. Danale's app makes a simple connection possible by scanning a QR code. Paid cloud storage can also be chosen in the Danale app.

Installation

The XSC series has an IP66 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. The camera housing is made of metal. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the "Options" tab you can indicate whether an adapter and/or mounting bracket should be included. The camera is also suitable for placing vertically against a wall. Windows software is available to locate the camera on the network and configure the network settings. The download for the software and a web browser plugin are included under the "Documentation" tab.
