The X-Security XS-IPD842SWH-4P is a 4 megapixel Full HD dome camera with infrared night vision and a fixed 2.8mm lens for indoors or outdoors. The camera is very suitable for use in homes, offices, restaurants, hotels and business premises.

Possibilities

The X-Security XS-IPD842SWH-4P-AI displays images in a Full HD 2688×1520 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of no less than 30 meters. The camera has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions very well, such as backlight from the sun or car headlights.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

X-Security uses the Dahua software, apps and P2P server. Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded for free from the Dahua website. The X-Security XS-IPD842SWH-4P has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. The mounting brackets are included under the Related tab. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and therefore very suitable for placing vertically against a wall. The camera is vandal-resistant (IK10 rating).
