The Dahua KTP01L(S)-B is a complete IP video doorbell kit with a VTO2201F-P and a VTH2421FB-P indoor monitor<\/span><\/a> with a black housing. The kit comes with a Dahua 4 port PoE switch (including power adapter) and a VTM115 surface-mounted housing<\/span><\/a> for the outdoor station. There is also the complete kit network cable<\/span><\/a> required and a PC or Mac for one-time system setup.<\/p>\n

Possibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

If the PoE switch is connected to your own network with the internet, the doorbell system can be operated from anywhere where a smartphone or tablet has an internet connection: from your own home or from the other side of the world. This means that an audio video conversation can be had with a visitor at the door and possibly a connected one electric door lock<\/span><\/a> or gate are opened.
\nAn electric lock can be connected directly to the outdoor station. Dahua also has a safety relay (Dahua DEE1010B<\/span><\/a>) available for safely connecting an electric lock. With a second lock, the external DEE1010B relay must always be used.<\/p>\n

Dahua has a free mobile app for iOS (iDMSS Plus) and Android (gDMSS Plus). With the free SmartPSS software for Windows, the intercom system can also be operated with a PC. The image from the camera of the outdoor station can also be viewed live and possibly recorded on a Network Video Recorder (NVR)<\/span><\/a> or, for example, a NAS such as Synology Surveillance Station that is connected to the same network.<\/p>\n

The images from IP cameras connected to the same network (possibly via an NVR) can be briefly shown on the indoor monitor. Not every IP camera is suitable: all IP cameras in our online store are suitable for this. If the IP camera has the PoE power supply option, it can also be connected to the PoE switch in the kit (there are two free ports on the switch).<\/p>\n

The KTP01L(S) intercom system can be expanded with multiple outdoor stations and\/or indoor monitors. The included switch has two free PoE ports. An extra gong can be connected to the indoor monitor. The system also has a built-in alarm system. Wired universal detectors can be connected to the monitor.<\/p>\n
