Description

The WL4 NVR-MR is a Network Video Recorder for live video surveillance and live geo tracking in vehicles. The NVR-MR is very suitable for use in a car, van, taxi, truck, passenger bus, camper, tram, train, rental car, horse trailer, livestock transport, tractor, agricultural machine, boat, etc.

Possibilities

The NVR has GPS for live geo location tracking, allowing the route traveled to be monitored and stored. The NVR also has 3G/4G for live viewing of images via a mobile connection (SIM card not included). The NVR also has WiFi. As soon as the vehicle is again within range of its own WiFi network, the images and data can be stored on its own server. A GPS, WiFi and 3/4G antenna are included. The NVR must communicate with an external server. This can be the manufacturer's free server or your own server. We recommend using your own server. Software to install on your own server is available free of charge. A license applies for a maximum of 10 vehicles. There is web-based access to the server with an internet browser or a mobile app (iOS and Android).

The NVR supports up to 4 IP cameras (ONVIF) with recording in up to 2 megapixel Full HD 1080p. The camera is connected to a 12VDC PoE port, providing the camera with power and signal with 1 cable. Suitable mobile IP cameras are included under the “Options” tab.

The NVR has an HDMI and VGA output. A suitable mobile monitor is included under the “Options” tab. An infrared remote control is included. The NVR has a USB port for updating firmware of the NVR. The NVR has 4 alarm inputs and 1 alarm output.

Image storage

The NVR supports a 2.5 inch hard drive of up to 2 terabytes and 2 x SD cards of up to 128 GB. Suitable hard drives and SD cards are included under the "Related" tab. Recording can be set based on a schedule, motion detection or manually. Recording can start automatically after activating the vehicle's ignition and continues for approximately 10 seconds after the ignition is switched off thanks to a built-in battery.

Installation

Specialized knowledge is required to install the mobile video system and configure the server. We only supply the system to business customers and partners. We can arrange the installation of a complete vehicle video and geo tracking system at an experienced BOVAG recognized garage company. Ask us about the possibilities.
