Description

The WL4 MLGW is a cable set for an aluminum element truss mast. For more than 4 elements, an optional guy wire kit is required. The guy wires must be mounted between the fourth and fifth mast elements. Suitable truss masts are listed under 'Options'.

You must ensure that there is a sufficiently strong anchorage at the end of the guy wire. The cables are subject to corrosion and should be inspected regularly and replaced if necessary. The breaking force of a new set is 800kg per cable. Tightening the tension swivel should result in light cable tension (approximately 100kg maximum force).
Excessive cable span can lead to deformation of the mast hinge base or breaking of the threads on the steel hooks/anchors in the foundation.
