Description

The WL4 MIC-P is a mini microphone for recording sound with images from a surveillance camera. The microphone is equipped with power transfer connectors and an RCA audio connector.

The MIC-P has two power connectors so that power can be passed to a camera. This provides ease of installation for use with cameras powered by an adapter. The power adapter is connected to the power input connector of the microphone and the camera is connected to the power output connector of the microphone for power. The microphone can also be used if the camera is powered with, for example, PoE or its own separate adapter. The power supply output is then not used.

The RCA female audio connector can be connected to a suitable camera or to an audio input of, for example, a network video recorder (NVR). Matching audio RCA male connectors are listed under the “Related Products” tab.

The WL4 MIC-S is not classified for outdoor use. When used outdoors, it is necessary to protect the microphone against weather influences. A power adapter is not included. A suitable power adapter can be found under the “Options” and “Related products” tab.
