Description

The WL4 AIR-S60-2 is a wire-free active infrared (AIR) universal solar-powered detector set for outdoor use with 2 beams and a maximum detection distance of 60m. The set consists of a transmitter and receiver that are connected without wires to each other and to a separately available receiver. The WL4 AIR-S60-2 can be used as a detector for alarm systems, access control systems, smart home systems, an intercom system and, for example, to connect to the alarm input of an IP camera.

Possibilities

The WL4 AIR-S60-2 has 2 active infrared beams. The alignment is carried out with the built-in spirit level and by sight. The detector set has a range of up to 60 meters and must be used outdoors. A clear line of sight between the detectors is required. The detection takes place when both IR beams are broken. The detector set must be connected wirelessly to a receiver AIR-SR-2, AIR-SR-4 or AIR-SR-8. A receiver is not included and can be ordered separately. Eligible recipients are listed under the "Related" tab. The maximum distance to the receiver is 1000 meters. Wireless communication with the receiver takes place with 433MHz FSK+FHSS technology for a reliable long-distance connection that is protected against signal interference. The WL4 AIR-S60-2 has a built-in 3.3V/500mAh LiFePO4 battery that is sufficiently charged at 1800Lux UV light. This means that the detector is sufficiently charged even on cloudy days and can even work for several days without light. The detector can also be powered for prolonged periods of extremely low light intensity.

The detector has infrared pulse technology to minimize false alarms due to, for example, fog or heavy rain. The detector is also protected by modulation technology against false alarms due to direct sunlight on the infrared lenses. Furthermore, the detector is equipped with technology to prevent false alarms due to loose mounting or incorrect calibration. The detector is completely closed and weatherproof (IP65). The operating temperature range is -30℃ ~ 70℃.

Installation

The WL4 AIR-S60-2 can be mounted on a wall or pole. Post brackets and mounting materials are included. We have included suitable stainless steel mounting poles under the options tab.
