The WL4 AIR-POS-9 is an active infrared (AIR) universal motion detector set for outdoors and indoors with two PIR beams and a maximum distance of 9 meters (outdoors). The WL4 AIR-POS-9 has a vertical detection angle of 90 degrees and functions completely wirelessly on two energy-efficient ER14505 3.6V batteries.

Because the WL4 AIR-POS-9 has an integrated Ajax Transmitter, it can be connected directly to the Ajax system in an open space within a distance of 1200 meters. Because the WL4 AIR-POS-9 has a dual PIR sensor and a MicroWave detector, the sensor detects movements of a human body. Because the WL4 AIR-POS-9 is equipped with a smart anti-masking system, the device immediately sees when it is blocked or, for example, painted and then immediately sends a message to the central alarm system.
