De Safire SF-IPCV037AH-4W geeft beelden weer in een Full HD 2560×1440 resolutie. De camera heeft een ingebouwd automatisch IR-cut filter en is daarmee een echte dag/nacht camera. In donkere omstandigheden kan de camera de ingebouwde matrix IR verlichting inschakelen waardoor er zelfs in volledige duisternis (0 Lux) een haarscherp beeld is. De IR verlichting heeft een bereik van 30 meter.
De camera beschikt over Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) waardoor de camera goed kan omgaan met complexe lichtomstandigheden als gevolg van bijvoorbeeld tegenlicht van de zon of auto koplampen. De camera heeft een vaste lens van 2.8mm.

The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 128 GB. Images can also be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR). The camera has a built-in microphone.

Safire has a free mobile app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The free Video Management Software (VMS) Safire Control Center for a PC can be downloaded from the Safire website. The Safire SF-IPCV037AH-4W has an IP66 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. The camera must be powered with an optional 12VDC power adapter. Under the “Options” tab you can indicate whether an adapter should be included.
