Description

The Nivian NVS-WALLSOCKETF-W is a smart built-in wall socket that works with the free Tuya Smart app for iOS and Android. The wall socket is used to switch a device. The wall socket is connected to the WiFi network and no central controller, hub, remote control or subscription is required. The smart wall socket can work with IFTTT, Alexa and Google Assistant.

Possibilities

The wall socket is controlled by the free Tuya Smart app. This can be done from anywhere where a smartphone or tablet has an internet connection: from your own home or from the other side of the world. Other devices can also be managed in the (Dutch) app and it is possible to set up rooms and add (family) members. A time schedule can be set, scenes can be created and a connection with IFTTT, Alexa and Google Assistant.

Installation

The wall socket is earthed and must be installed on a standard electrical flush-mounted box. The wall socket is connected wirelessly to the local WiFi network by the Tuya Smart app (also in Dutch).
