Description

The Hikvision HWP-N4215H-DE3 HiWatch is a Full HD 2MP indoor speed PTZ camera with 15x zoom, 16x digital zoom, IR night vision, PoE, 120dB WDR and microSD card recording. The camera can tilt, rotate and zoom (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) and has built-in infrared night vision.

Possibilities

The Hikvision HWP-N4215H-DE3 displays images in a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. The camera has a motorized 5 – 75 mm lens with a horizontal angle of view of 57.6 to 4 degrees. The camera has an extensive zoom function with 15x zoom and 16x digital zoom.

Thanks to the light-sensitive image chip, the camera still delivers a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light. In very dark conditions, the camera can also switch on the built-in IR lighting, allowing images to be viewed even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting is supported by the Powered by DarkFighter technology. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. The camera also has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

Hikvision has a free app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded for free from the Hikvision website. The 'Documentation' tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with the not included 12VDC power adapter. Suitable adapters and MicroSD cards can be ordered under 'Options'.
