Description

The Hikvision HWP-N2404IH-DE3(F) HiWatch is a Full HD 4MP mini outdoor PTZ dome with 4x zoom, IR night vision, PoE, 120dB WDR and microSD card recording. The mini dome camera can tilt, rotate and zoom (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) and has built-in infrared night vision.

Possibilities

The Hikvision HWP-N2404IH-DE3 displays images in a Full HD 2560×1440 resolution. The camera has a motorized 2.8 – 12mm lens with a horizontal angle of view of 100 to 33 degrees.

Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image chip, the camera still delivers a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light. In very dark conditions, the camera can also switch on the built-in IR lighting, allowing images to be viewed even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 20 meters. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. The camera also has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

Hikvision has a free app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded for free from the Hikvision website. The “Documentation” tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The Hikvision HWP-N2404IH-DE3 has an IP66 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with the included 12VDC power adapter. The camera is vandal-resistant (IK10 rating).
