Description

The Hikvision HWN-4208MH-8P HiWatch is an 8-channel UltraHD 4K PoE Network Video Recorder to which 8 IP cameras can be connected wired for recording and managing Ultra 4K HD camera images. The Hikvision HWN-4208MH-8P has eight PoE or RJ45 ports for IP cameras.

Possibilities

A maximum of 8 Full HD IP cameras can be connected to the NVR via PoE input. The NVR is connected to the network with a network cable. The NVR can then be accessed via a web browser, video management software and with the free app for a smartphone and tablet.

The NVR supports cameras up to 8 megapixels and H.265 encoding for efficient use of bandwidth and storage.

The NVR has an HDMI and VGA Ultra 4K output for connecting to a normal TV for, among other things, showing images. There is also a USB connection for connecting the supplied mouse.

Hard disks

The Hikvision HWN-4208MH-8P supports two 3.5 inch hard drives of up to 6 terabytes. The NVR is supplied without a hard drive. We supply Western Digital Purple hard drives that are specifically designed for 24/7 surveillance purposes. Suitable hard drives can be ordered under 'Options'.
