The Hikvision HWI-D140HA HiWatch is a Full HD 4MP dome with IR night vision, fixed lens, 120dB WDR and PoE for indoors or outdoors.

Possibilities

The Hikvision HWI-B640H-Z HiWatch displays images in a Full HD 2560×1440 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters. The camera has 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The camera has a fixed 2.8mm lens. The Hikvision HWI-D140H-M HiWatch has, among other things, motion detection. Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera has not about the possibility of recording in the camera on a microSD memory card.

Hikvision has a free mobile app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The free Video Management Software (VMS) for a PC can be downloaded from the Hikvision website. A link to the manufacturer's product page is included under the 'Documentation' tab.

The Hikvision HWI-D140HA HiWatch has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. The camera housing is made of metal and plastic. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector.
The camera can also be powered with an optional 12VDC power adapter. An adapter can be ordered under the 'Options' tab. The 'Options' tab also contains suitable Hikvision mounting brackets. The camera has an IK10 class vandal resistance and the lens direction is adjustable over 3 axes.

The difference between the Hikvision HWI-D140HA and the Hikvision HWI-D140H is that the Hikvision HWI-D140HA only has Smart Motion Detection when the NVR also has it.
