The Hikvision HWI-B782H-Z is a Full HD 8 megapixel bullet with no less than 50 meters IR night vision, varifocal lens of 2.8-12 mm, Digital WDR and PoE+ for indoors or outdoors. Hikvision HiWatch products have a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

Possibilities

The Hikvision HWI-B782H-Z HiWatch displays images in a Full HD 3840×2160 resolution. The camera has a built-in adjustable automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of no less than 50 meters. The camera has digital Wide Dynamic Range (WDR).

The 2.8-12 mm motorized varifocal lens has a horizontal field of view of 405 - 34.5 degrees. The security camera has all kinds of smart functions including Region of Interest (ROI), Tripwire Detection, intrusion detection and facial recognition. Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in-camera on a microSD memory card up to 256 GB. Suitable cards are listed under 'Options'.

Hikvision has a free mobile app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The free Video Management Software (VMS) for a PC can be downloaded from the Hikvision website. A link to the manufacturer's product page is included under the 'Documentation' tab.

The Hikvision HWI-B782H-Z HiWatch has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3at POE+). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter.
