The Hikvision HWI-B640H-Z HiWatch is a Full HD 4MP bullet security camera with IR night vision, motorized varifocal lens, microSD card recording option, 120dB WDR, PoE for indoors or outdoors.

Possibilities

The Hikvision HWI-B640H-Z HiWatch displays images in a Full HD 2560×1440 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters. The camera has 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The motorized adjustable 2.8 to 12mm varifocal lens makes it possible to remotely focus the camera on a distant image or a nearby image. Due to this zooming in and zooming out, the horizontal angle of view varies between 98 and 34 degrees.

The Hikvision HWI-B640H-Z HiWatch features, among other things, motion detection and privacy masking. Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 128 GB.

Hikvision has a free mobile app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The free Video Management Software (VMS) software can be downloaded from the Hikvision HiWatch website. A link to the manufacturer's product page is included under the "Documentation" tab.

The Hikvision HWI-B640H-Z HiWatch has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. The housing of the camera is made of metal. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12VDC power adapter. Under the “Options” tab you can indicate whether an adapter should be included. Suitable Hikvision mounting brackets are available under the “Options” tab.
