Hikvision DS-PDC15-EG2-WE is part of the Hikvision AX PRO security system. Hikvision AX PRO is a wireless burglary, smart home and video verification system from Hikvision suitable for both homes and commercial buildings. The AX PRO alarm system consists of a central alarm hub with a wide choice of detectors and other accessories, such as smart plugs, repeaters, control panels, card readers, siren and a power module.

The AX PRO system works very easily with the Hik-Connect app for end users, which is also used for other Hikvision products such as IP cameras. This way, as a customer, you can manage all Hikvision products in one application.

Possibilities

The Hikvision DS-PDPC12PF-EG2-WE is a wireless passive PIR camera detector with a maximum detection range of 12 meters. The PIR has a built-in camera with ColorVu colorful night vision for direct alarm video verification to the mobile app or to an emergency center service. The PIR is for use in the Hikvision AxPro alarm system.

The Hikvision DS-PDPC12PF-EG2-WE is used in the indoor environment. With a detection angle of horizontally 85.9 degrees and vertically 68 degrees, an entire room is monitored with the camera detector. When a potential intruder enters, the detector immediately reports it and starts taking images. In addition, the DS-PDPC12P-EG2-WE has an integrated blue LED that flashes when a notification is received. The detector must be connected to the AX PRO central unit within a radius of 800 meters.

To reduce false alarms as much as possible, the Hikvision DS-PDPC12PF-EG2-WE has adjustable sensitivity and detection range of the PIR detector. In addition, the motion detector recognizes pets up to 30 kilograms. The motion detector is often used in business premises, shops, museums or homes and is placed on the wall or ceiling. The difference between the DS-PDPC12P-EG2-WE and the DS-PDPC12PF-EG2-WE is that this version of the camera detector from the AX PRO alarm system displays color images 24 hours a day in dark conditions. The device runs on three supplied CR123A batteries. The batteries have an estimated lifespan of six years and are easy to replace.
