Description

The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME2 is a two-wire camera module with a Full HD 2 megapixel 180 degree fisheye lens for use in the Hikvision second generation IP intercom system. In the flexible IP video intercom system, an outdoor station can be used with only the camera module, possibly supplemented with a maximum of 8 additional modules such as a keypad module, a card reader module, an indication module and/or a 6-button apartment module. The modules must be built-in or assembled with the separately available housings.

The system is completed with one or more intercom within monitor(s). An audio/video conversation with push notifications via the Hikvision smartphone app is also possible.

Characteristics

The camera has a 2 megapixel Full HD image sensor with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a very wide horizontal viewing angle of 180 degrees. Thanks to the Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, the camera can handle backlight very well. The camera is equipped with a light-sensitive image sensor, which provides a good color image even in conditions with little ambient light. For dark conditions, the camera module is equipped with infrared LED light.

The camera module must be combined with one or more matching Hikvision intercom indoor monitors. A maximum of 6 monitors can be used per push button.

There is a push button and a nameplate on the camera module. The camera module has an omni-directional microphone and 85dB speaker for a clear audio/video conversation. The camera module can be connected to a maximum of 2 electric locks to remotely unlock a door and/or control an electric gate, for example. The camera module has two alarm inputs for magnetic contacts and two inputs for exit buttons. The individual modules (maximum 8) are connected to the camera module and also powered by the camera module.

The camera module must be built-in or surface-mounted. A single, dual or triple housing is available. Enclosures can be combined. Material for connecting and mounting is supplied with the housings. The camera module is connected to the Hikvision DS-KAD706(-S) switch (not included) with a two-wire cable. The intercom switch is connected to the local network and can be powered with 24VDC from, for example, the Hikvision DS-KAW60-2N (not included).
