De Hikvision DS-2DE4A225IWG-E is een Full HD 2MP buiten Ultra Low Light PTZ met Auto tracking, 25x zoom, IR nachtzicht, PoE, 120dB WDR en de mogelijkheid om op te nemen op een microSD kaart. De camera kan kantelen, draaien en zoomen (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) en heeft ingebouwd infrarood nachtzicht tot 50 meter.

The Hikvision DS-2DE4A225IW-DE displays images in a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. The camera has a motorized 4.8 – 120mm lens with a horizontal angle of view of 57.6 to 2.5 degrees.

Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image chip, the camera still delivers a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light. In very dark conditions, the camera can also switch on the built-in IR lighting, allowing images to be viewed even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 20 meters. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. The camera also has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The camera has smart functions such as Smart Tracking (Manual Tracking, Auto Tracking and Event Tracking) and Smart Detection (Audio Exception Detection, Face Detection, Intrusion Detection, Line Crossing Detection, Region Entrance Detection, Region Exiting Detection, Unattended Baggage Detection and Object Removal Detection). The camera has alarm and audio inputs and outputs.

Beelden kunnen onder meer worden opgeslagen op een Netwerk Video Recorder (NVR). De camera beschikt ook over de mogelijkheid om in de camera op te nemen op een microSD geheugenkaart tot maximaal 256Gb. Een geschikte microSD kaart is opgenomen onder ‘Opties’.

Hikvision heeft een gratis app beschikbaar voor Apple iOS en Android. De camera heeft een interne webserver die met een webbrowser kan worden bekeken en beheerd. Op de website van de fabrikant is gratis Video Management Software (VMS) voor een computer te downloaden. Onder de tab ‘Documentatie’ is onder meer een link naar de product pagina van de fabrikant opgenomen.

De Hikvision DS-2DE4A225IWG-E heeft een IP66 rating waardoor de camera uitermate geschikt is voor gebruik buiten. Voor installatiegemak kan de camera via de netwerkkabel worden gevoed met Power over Ethernet (standaard 802.3at). PoE kan worden verkregen door een PoE NVR, een PoE switch of met een PoE injector. De camera kan ook worden gevoed met de meegeleverde 12VDC voeding adapter. De camera wordt geleverd zonder montagebeugel. Geschikte montagebeugels zijn mee te bestellen onder ‘Opties’.
