The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU-B is the black version of the Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU. This is a black 4 megapixel Full HD turret dome camera for outdoors with a 2.8mm fixed lens. The camera has infrared night vision, PoE power supply, 120dB WDR and the option to record images on a microSD card in the camera.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU-B is part of the Hikvision AcuSense series from Hikvision. The AcuSense series cameras are advanced cameras that use deep algorithms and artificial intelligence to enable accurate intrusion detection. The cameras effectively distinguish between important movements, such as people and vehicles, and unimportant activities, such as animals or moving branches. This minimizes false alarms and provides targeted alerts, allowing for more efficient and effective monitoring.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU-B displays images in Full HD 2688×1520 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters. The camera has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions very well, such as backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The camera has a fixed 2.8mm lens with a horizontal viewing angle of 103 degrees. The camera has the option to record on an SD card in the camera up to a maximum of 512Gb. Images can also be stored on an NVR.

Hikvision has a free Dutch mobile app available. Video Management Software (iVMS) for a computer or Mac can be downloaded for free from the Hikvision website.
