The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU is a 4 megapixel Full HD turret dome camera for outdoors with a 4mm fixed lens. The camera has infrared night vision, PoE power supply, 120dB WDR and the option to record images on a microSD card in the camera.

Possibilities

The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU displays images in Full HD 2688×1520 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters. The camera has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions very well, such as backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The camera has a fixed 4mm lens with a horizontal viewing angle of 84 degrees. The camera has the option to record on an SD card in the camera up to a maximum of 512Gb. Images can also be stored on a NAS/NVR.

Hikvision has a free Dutch mobile app available. Video Management Software (iVMS) for a computer or Mac can be downloaded for free from the Hikvision website. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The 'Documentation' tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page. The difference between the Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-I and the Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU is that the Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU has a built-in audio with microphone.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the 'Options' tab you can indicate whether an adapter should be included. Suitable mounting supports are also included under the 'Options' tab. The camera is manually adjustable over 3 axes.
