The Dahua SD3A200-GN-A-PV is a Full HD 2MP Active Deterrence Starlight PT camera with 2-way audio, IR night vision and SD slot for recording images from Dahua's Lite Series.

The camera belongs to the Dahua Lite Series with support for intelligent functions such as Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS), which means the camera has personal recognition, intrusion detection (intrusion) and line crossing (Tripwire). In addition, the camera combines white light with IR light, providing a clear image in almost all conditions. The camera has the advanced video compression technology Smart H.265+ that ensures effective bandwidth and storage, smart analyzes of the images and lower bandwidth.

Possibilities

The SD3A200-GN-A-PV displays images in a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. The camera has the Dahua Dual Light Technology, which allows the camera to combine white LED with IR. Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image chip, the camera still delivers a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light, even in almost complete darkness (0.002 lux). The camera has not has an optical zoom and has a fixed 4mm lens with a viewing angle of 86.8 degrees horizontally.

In very dark conditions, the camera can also switch on the built-in IR lighting, allowing images to be viewed even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. The camera has Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions very well.

The camera has Siren and Light Active Deterrence with a white LED light and two-way audio through a built-in microphone and speaker. Own alarm sounds or (voice) messages can be set.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded for free from the Dahua website. The “Documentation” tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The SD3A200-GN-A-PV has an IP66 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the “Options” tab you can indicate whether an adapter should be included. The camera is supplied with a bracket for wall, ceiling or pole mounting.
