The Dahua SD1A204DB-GNY is a Full HD 2MP Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) dome camera from the WizSense series with Starlight Technology for indoor or outdoor use. The camera has a built-in microphone and audio input/output, 4x optical zoom and 120dB WDR. In addition, it is possible to record in the camera on a microSD card (not included). The camera can tilt, rotate and zoom (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) and is very suitable for use in homes, offices, restaurants, hotels and business premises.

Possibilities

The Dahua SD1A204DB-GNY displays images in a FullHD 1920×1080 resolution. The camera has Dahua Starlight Technology, making it ideal for applications with challenging lighting conditions, and the camera also has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter. Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera still delivers a usable image with a minimum of ambient light, even in almost complete darkness (0.005 lux). The camera has built-in infrared night vision up to a maximum of 20 meters and 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which means the camera can handle complex lighting conditions very well due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights. The camera has a built-in microphone.

The camera has the Dahua SMD 3.0 Smart Motion Detection. This smart motion detection has advanced object recognition and analysis algorithms to accurately distinguish between people and other objects such as animals and vehicles. This ensures that false alarms are minimized.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 512 GB.

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The SD1A204DB-GNY has an IP66 rating, making the camera suitable for outdoor use, and the camera is also vandal resistant (IK08 rating). The suitable mounting brackets are shown under the 'related' tab. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter.
