The Dahua IPC-PDW5849P-A180-E2-ASTE is a Full-color 2x 4 megapixel 180 degree eyeball Starlight WizMind camera with a very light-sensitive image sensor and 40 meters infrared night vision, built-in microphone, 140db WDR, (e)PoE power supply and microSD recording option for indoors or outdoors.

Possibilities

The Dahua IPC-PDW5849P-A180-E2-ASTE displays images in a maximum resolution of 4096×1800 at a speed of 25 frames per second (FPS). The maximum output of the two 4-megapixel cameras is 8 megapixels. The camera has a fixed focal lens. The camera has Dahua Starlight Technology, making it ideal for applications with challenging lighting conditions. Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera still delivers a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light, even in almost complete darkness (0.005 lux).

The camera has a built-in automatic day/night IR cut filter and can also switch on the built-in IR lighting in dark conditions, providing a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a very large range of no less than 40 meters. The camera has 140dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions very well, such as backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The Dahua PDW3849P-A180-AS-PV has an Electronic Pan-Tilt-Zoom (EPTZ) function, making it possible to simulate digital pan, tilt and zoom functions with the Dahua camera without movement of the camera itself. Instead of moving the camera, digital image processing techniques are used to zoom in on a specific part of the video image and to virtually pan or tilt the image. This allows you, for example, to enlarge a specific part of the image.

The Dahua Perimeter Protection technology in this camera allows the camera to recognize people and vehicles. The technology eliminates false alarms and makes it possible to detect intruders. A virtual barrier can be created, with the camera immediately alarming if it is crossed. In addition to the Perimeter Protection technology, this camera also has People Couting technology. This function is used to count the number of people entering or leaving a certain area. This can be useful in various applications, such as managing access control, measuring the occupancy of a store or building, analyzing the flow of people in a particular location and gaining insight into visitor patterns.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 512Gb (not included). The camera has a built-in microphone.

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The Dahua IPC-PDW5849P-A180-E2-ASTE has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (802.3at P0E) or ePoE. PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the options tab you can indicate whether an adapter and/or Dahua mounting bracket should be included.
