The Dahua IPC-HDW3841EM-AS-B is an 8 megapixel Ultra 4K HD eyeball black camera with POE, WizSense technology, a fixed 2.8mm lens, infrared night vision, SD card slot, built-in microphone and 120dB WDR for indoors or outdoors. The camera has the latest H.265 encoding protocol for very efficient use of network bandwidth and storage space for images.

Possibilities

The Dahua IPC-HDW3841EMP-S-S2 displays images in a 4K UltraHD 3840×2160 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of no less than 30 meters. The camera has 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

The Dahua IPC-HDW3841EM-AS-B uses the free Dutch Dahua app for Apple iOS and Android and PC/Mac Video Management Software (VMS). The camera has an internal web server (also in Dutch) that can be viewed and managed with a web browser.

The Dahua IPC-HDW3841EMP-AS-B has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Suitable Dahua mounting brackets are listed under the “Related” tab. The camera is manually adjustable over 3 axes and therefore very suitable for placing vertically against a wall.
