Description

The Dahua IPC-HDBW1230E-S5 is a 2 megapixel Full HD mini dome camera for outdoors. The camera must be used with the Dahua SmartPSS and Toolbox software and the Dahua DMSS app.

Razor-sharp Full HD image

The camera displays images in Full HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Furthermore, the camera has a built-in IR-cut filter (ICR), making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can also switch on the built-in IR lighting, allowing images to be viewed even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters.

To withdraw

The camera has no micro-SD slot for an SD card for recording images in the camera. Images can be recorded on an NVR. Footage can also be viewed and recorded using Angelcam Cloud Recording. The advantage of cloud recording is that images are stored elsewhere (off-site) and are therefore not susceptible to vandalism or theft, for example.

Free app

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded for free from the Dahua website. The “Documentation” tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The Dahua IPC-HDBW1230E-S5 has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the “Options” tab you can indicate whether an adapter and/or Dahua mounting bracket should be included. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and therefore very suitable for placing vertically against a wall. The camera is vandal-resistant (IK10 rating).
