Description

The Dahua ASR2201D-BD is a narrow Bluetooth code panel/keypad and RFID card reader for outdoor use and can also be operated with a free smartphone app. Access control takes place by means of a PIN code and/or RFID proximity card or tag or by a smartphone with Bluetooth. The Dahua ASR2201D-BD is ideal for use in homes, apartment buildings, business premises and offices.

Possibilities

The Dahua ASR2201D-BD has communication over the RS485 protocol and Wiegand 34. A separate controller is required. The Dahua ASR2201D-BD can be managed via a Dahua or X-Security ASC series access controller via the free SmartPSS Dahua software on a Windows PC.

Bluetooth

Thanks to the Bluetooth integration, this reader can communicate with a mobile phone from a maximum of 10 meters. A door or gate can be unlocked by using the unlock button on the smartphone or shaking the phone. In Dahua's Easy4key app, the QR code generated in the SmartPSS management software can be scanned and the smartphone is added to the access information. After this step, the smartphone has become an access pass.

The Dahua ASR2201D-BD uses the Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). This is an access control communications standard developed by the Security Industry Association (SIA) to improve interoperability between access control and security products.

Easy4key app

The Easy4key app for iOS and Android is a Bluetooth-based app for smart Dahua locks that allows you to unlock doors and manage users via mobile phone. You can connect locks with Bluetooth and unlock the door within 10 meters using your mobile as your key. You can edit user information, including name and password. You can view unlock history and share a temporary PIN for access with your guest.

Installation

The Dahua ASR2201D-BD is easy to install yourself. The Dahua ASR2201D-BD can be powered by the not included controller from the Dahua or X-Security ASC series. Under the "Documentation" tab there is a link to the manufacturer's website and datasheet for more information.
