Possibilities

The Ajax LifeQuality Black is a very compact wireless air quality meter. With the temperature sensor, humidity sensor and carbon dioxide sensor, the system quickly evaluates the air quality in a room with so-called non-dispersive infrared sensors. Ajax focuses more on a smart-home application than on a security system. Poor air quality reduces productivity and also poses health risks. A high level of CO2 in a room causes drowsiness and lower productivity. The air quality can be measured using the Ajax air quality meter. The Ajax LifeQuality must be mounted within a distance of 1700 meters (open space) from the central Hub. If necessary, the distance can be increased by using a ReX 2 repeater.

The air quality meter is often used in offices, childcare, school, hotels or at the end user's home. Users receive extensive measurement reports and automation scenarios available in the Ajax application. By pressing the Ajax LifeQuality, the air quality meter indicates the status of the environment in colors. For example, the Ajax logo turns yellow if the air quality level is moderate, red if the CO2 level is dangerously high, and purple if the air quality is critical. Naturally, the air quality meter is green when the air quality value in the room is correct.

The indication of the temperature sensor, humidity sensor and carbon dioxide sensor are all visible in the Ajax application. The history of several days is also available in the app and then available via the central Hub. Because the device is wireless, it can be used in different places. Scenarios can be determined by connecting the Ajax LifeQuality via an Ajax Wallswitch or Ajax Relay to a fan or heater. For example, the fans turn on when the CO2 value is high.

The air quality meter is protected with a tamper alarm. The Ajax LifeQuality Black has two pre-installed CR-123A batteries with a maximum lifespan of approximately 2.5 years. The air quality meter also has protection against fraud, manipulation and jamming. Jamming means disrupting radio signals. If the sensor is moved, a warning will appear in the application. The Ajax LifeQuality can easily be mounted on a wall or ceiling, but can also be placed loose.
