Possibilities

The Ajax LeaksProtect Black is a very compact water detector, which can be placed loose or placed in any location. The wireless Ajax LeaksProtect Black is a separate part of the Ajax alarm system that detects water and thus prevents flooding or leakage. If a device such as a washing machine starts leaking, the Ajax LeaksProtect Black immediately sends a signal to the central Hub.

The Ajax LeaksProtect Black must be mounted within a distance of 1300 meters (open space) from the central Hub. If an anti-flood system is present, it is possible to have the Ajax alarm system give a signal that it should come into effect immediately upon activation of the Ajax LeaksProtect Black. After the leak has disappeared, the Ajax LeaksProtect Black automatically cancels the message.

The water detector can be installed for both houses and building complexes. Via the Ajax application, in which the entire alarm system is managed, names of rooms can be set where the water detector in question is located. This makes it possible to provide information with the Ajax LeaksProtect Black where there is a leak within the building in question. This way, plumbers can be quickly informed about the location of the leak.

It is also possible to connect the Ajax LeaksProtect Black within the Ajax system with the Ajax WaterStop, so that complete control of the water supply can even be carried out remotely. The automation then goes so far that a water shut-off takes place automatically after a report from the Ajax LeaksProtect Zwart. A water shut-off can be set manually, when switching the system on or off, or via a set schedule in the application.

The Ajax LeaksProtect Black has two pre-installed batteries with a maximum lifespan of five years, and the LeaksProtect Black also has protection against fraud, manipulation and jamming. Jamming means disrupting radio signals. The Ajax LeaksProtect Black has an IP65 housing, making it well protected against moisture. This ensures that the device can be used continuously. If the sensor is moved, a warning will appear in the application.
