The Ajax DoorProtect Black is a very compact opening detector. This Ajax DoorProtect Black detects when a door or window is being penetrated. Opening a window or door ensures that the Ajax DoorProtect Black immediately sends a signal to the central Hub. The Ajax DoorProtect Black must be mounted within a distance of 1200 meters (open space) from the central Hub.

The magnetic contact can be mounted on all types of doors, even on metal doors. The Ajax DoorProtect Black consists of two parts. A detector and a magnet. Two magnets are supplied with the door contact. The large magnet can be installed at a distance of two centimeters, the small one at a distance of one centimeter. The small magnet should be mounted on the left side of the detector if used.

The Ajax DoorProtect Black has one pre-installed battery with a maximum lifespan of seven years, and the Ajax DoorProtect Black also has protection against fraud, manipulation and jamming. Jamming means disrupting radio signals. This product consists of the Ajax DoorProtect Black, including a pre-installed battery and a mounting panel for a possible bracket. The bracket can be added under 'Options'.
