Description

The Dahua IPC-HDW2431TP-ZS-S2-DG is a Dark Gray Full HD 4MP Starlight outdoor eyeball with infrared night vision and a motorized varifocal lens for indoors or outdoors. The camera is equipped by Dahua with a dark gray housing. A matching dark gray wall bracket or mounting box can be ordered under the “Options” tab. The camera is very suitable for use in homes, offices, restaurants, hotels and business premises.

Possibilities

The Dahua IPC-HDW2431T-ZS-S2-DG displays images in a Full HD 2688×1520 resolution. The camera has 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights. The camera sensor has Dahua Starlight Technology, making it ideal for applications with challenging lighting conditions. Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera still delivers a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light, even in almost complete darkness (0.008 lux). The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of no less than 40 meters. The camera has a motorized varifocal lens.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded for free from the Dahua website. The “Documentation” tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The Dahua IPC-HDW2431T-ZS-S2-DG has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12VDC power adapter. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and therefore very suitable for placing vertically against a wall.
