Description

The Dahua IPC-HFW2831SP-S-0280B-S2 is an 8 megapixel Ultra 4K HD bullet camera with POE, a fixed 2.8mm lens, infrared night vision, SD card slot and 120dB WDR for indoors or outdoors. The camera has the latest SMART H.265 coding protocol for very efficient use of network bandwidth and image storage space. The Dahua IPC-HFW2831SP-S-0280B-S2 uses the Dahua software, mobile app and mounting brackets.

Possibilities

The Dahua IPC-HFW2831SP-S-0280B-S2 displays images in a Full HD 3840×2160 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera still delivers a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light, even in almost complete darkness (0.009 lux). In very dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux).
The IR lighting has a range of no less than 30 meters. The camera has 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights. The fixed lens has a horizontal field of view of 105 degrees.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

The Dahua IPC-HFW2831SP-S-0280B-S2 has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the “Options” tab you can indicate whether an adapter should be included. Suitable Dahua mounting brackets are available under the “Options” tab. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and therefore very suitable for placing vertically against a wall.
