Description

The WL4 W485-RF-TX is a transmitter for wirelessly sending an RS485 2-wire signal to the WL4 W485-RF-RX receiver (not included).

The transmitter and receiver combination is suitable for use in access control, for example to wirelessly send an RS485 signal from a card reader or intercom to an access controller. Wireless control of a PTZ camera from a keyboard based on the RS485 signal is also possible with a combination of transmitter and receiver.

Possibilities

With the combination of transmitter and receiver, a 2-wire RS485 signal can be sent wirelessly over the 868Mhz frequency. This connection is completely transparent: all data from any protocol from any system can therefore be sent. The transmission speed must be set to 2400, 4800 or 9600 bit/s.

The WL4 WR-2-TX transmitter works on a 12VDC/0.1A power supply (not included).
