The Hikvision DS-PWA96-M-WE is part of the Hikvision AX PRO security system. Hikvision AX PRO is a wireless burglary, smart home and video verification system from Hikvision suitable for both homes and commercial buildings. The Hikvision DS-PWA96-M-WE can be expanded with a wide choice of detectors and other accessories, such as smart plugs, repeaters, control panels, card readers, siren and a power module.

The Hikvision DS-PWA96-M-WE-B is an AX PRO central unit. The central unit is the center of the Hikvision alarm system and communicates with all individual parts of the alarm system and is managed with the Hikvision Hik-Connect application. The app makes it easy to manage the security system and monitor your space. The other components of the Hikvision security system are connected to this control panel within a distance of 800 to 2000 meters, depending on the component. The control panel reports the alarms via push notifications, text message or telephone call.

The DS-PWA96-M-WE-B is the central wireless controller between all devices and works with encrypted messaging to the Hikvision application. The alarm system functions on the reliable 868Mhz frequency. It is possible to set up to 96 zones, including a maximum of 48 PIR camera sensors. Up to 48 network users can be set up and it is possible to work with voice prompts.

Due to the close operation with the Hikvision application, it is possible to receive notifications directly via the application, web environment or cloud. The Hikvision DS-PWA96-M-WE-B has a LAN input to directly connect an internet cable. It is also possible to work via WiFi or with General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) 3G and 4G SIM card. The control panel also has a built-in card reader.

The Hikvision DS-PWA96-M-WE-B central unit must be powered with a supplied adapter. In addition, the central unit has a built-in 4520 mAh backup battery, so that if the power fails, the system can function for up to 12 hours.
