The Dahua SD6CE225DB-HNY is a Full HD 2MP Starlight Auto-tracking PTZ speed dome camera. The camera is suitable for indoors or outdoors and has 25x optical zoom, 250 meters IR night vision and SD card recording. The camera can tilt, rotate and zoom (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) and is very suitable for use in homes, offices, restaurants, hotels and business premises.

Possibilities

The SD6CE225DB-HNY displays images in a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. The camera has the Dahua Starlight Technology, making it ideal for applications with challenging lighting conditions. Thanks to the highly light-sensitive image chip, the camera still delivers a usable color image with a minimum of ambient light, even in almost complete darkness (0.005 lux). The PFA (Panoramic Fisheye Algorithm) Technology corrects distortions of the fisheye lens, so that no distorted images are displayed. This makes the images more useful for surveillance purposes, especially in applications where a wider field of view is needed, such as in large open spaces or for extensive area monitoring.
The surveillance purposes are also supported by the Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS) function on the camera. IVS includes various intelligent analyzes and algorithms that are able to detect, classify and track different types of objects in a surveillance system. For example, motion detection and sound detection.

In very dark conditions, the camera can also switch on the built-in IR lighting, allowing images to be viewed even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a very large range of up to 250 meters. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. The camera has 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions very well, due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The camera has Auto-tracking technology. This function automatically controls the PTZ to keep a moving object in view. The Auto-tracking can be activated manually or automatically by preset rules. After a rule is activated, the camera can automatically track the defined target.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. Suitable NVRs are listed under the “Related” tab. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 512 GB.

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded free of charge from the Dahua website. The “Documentation” tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The SD6CE225DB-HNY has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. The camera housing is made of metal and vandal-resistant (IK10). For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3at POE plus). PoE+ can be achieved by a PoE+ NVR, a PoE+ switch or with a PoE+ injector. The camera can also be powered with an included power adapter.

The camera is supplied with a Dahua PFB305W wall bracket.
