Description

The Dahua VTO3221E-P is an IP video intercom outdoor station with a 2 megapixel camera, a keypad and a Mifare card reader for operating an electric door lock. The Dahua VTO3221E-P can easily be powered with 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 12VDC. The outdoor station is vandal-resistant.

The outdoor station has a 2 megapixel HD camera with a very wide viewing angle of 140 degrees. The outdoor station has white LED light for color images in dark conditions. The outdoor station does not have infrared night vision. The Dahua VTO3221E-P is made of sturdy aluminum and has an IP55 rating for outdoor use. Naturally, the VTO3221E-P has a sensitive omnidirectional microphone and a speaker for a clear conversation. The VTO3221E-P must be used in combination with a Dahua indoor monitor. Dahua has a free mobile app available for iOS and Android for video calls and unlocking the door or gate via the app. A live image can be viewed at any time with the app or within the monitor.

The outdoor station has a built-in relay that can be wired to an electric door lock to unlock a door remotely or through a Mifare card or a PIN code on the outdoor station. Under the 'Options' tab you will find suitable Mifare tags and Mifare cards. An external RS485 relay (Dahua DEE1010B), available separately, can be connected to unlock a second door or, for example, a gate. The DEE1010B relay can also be used as a single relay and placed in the building for extra safety. There is the option to connect an exit button to the outdoor station to unlock a door to go outside. The 'Access control' category contains suitable exit buttons.

The outdoor station can be configured and managed in the built-in web interface via a browser on a Windows PC or Mac. The VTO3221E-P works together with the free smartPSS Dahua Video Management Software (VMS). The images from the camera can also be recorded on a Network Video Recorder (NVR).

The Dahua VTO3221E-P can be powered with a not included 12VDC adapter or with Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af). The Dahua VTO3221E-P cannot be connected to the Dahua VTNS1060A intercom switch. The VTO3221E-P must be surface-mounted with the VTM117 or built-in with VTM116 optional housings.
