Description

The Nivian NVS-SOCKETF-W2 is a smart plug that works with the free Tuya Smart app for iOS and Android. The plug is used to switch a device and measure the energy consumption of the connected device. The plug is connected to the WiFi network and no central controller, hub, remote control or subscription is required. The smart plug can work with IFTTT, Alexa and Google Assistant.

Possibilities

The plug is controlled by the free Tuya Smart app. This can be done from anywhere where a smartphone or tablet has an internet connection: from your own home or from the other side of the world. Other devices can also be managed in the (Dutch) app and it is possible to set up rooms and add (family) members. A time schedule can be set, scenes can be created and a connection with IFTTT, Alexa and Google Assistant.

Installation

The plug has a type F Schuko (EU) size and can be connected to the local WiFi network through the Tuya Smart app (also in Dutch).
