The Hikvision HWI-B449HA is a ColorVu 4 megapixel bullet camera with no less than 50 meters of White LED night vision, fixed 4 mm lens, Motion Detection 2.0 and Digital WDR for indoors or outdoors. Because the camera has a white LED, the camera can generate a color image 24/7. Hikvision HiWatch products have a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

Possibilities

The Hikvision HWI-B449HA HiWatch displays images in a Full HD 2560×1440 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR LED lighting, providing a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The white LEDs have a range of no less than 50 meters. The camera has digital Wide Dynamic Range (WDR).

The 2.8mm lens has a horizontal angle of view of 104 degrees. The security camera from the HiWatch series features, among other things, privacy masking and the most modern technology for motion detection, also called Motion Detection 2.0. This makes the camera able to distinguish between humans and animals. In addition, false alarms are also minimized by this technology.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera has not about the possibility of recording in the camera on a microSD memory card.

Hikvision has a free mobile app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The Hikvision HWI-B449HA HiWatch has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. The camera housing is made of metal and plastic. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12VDC power adapter. Under the 'Options' tab you can indicate whether an adapter should be included.
