De Dahua IPC-HDW2441TM-S is een Full HD 4 megapixel eyeball camera met een lichtgevoelige beeldsensor en 30 meter infrarood nachtzicht, ingebouwde microfoon, 120db WDR, PoE voeding en microSD opname voor binnen of buiten.

The camera belongs to the 2 series of Dahua WizSense series with support for intelligent functions such as perimeter security and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus) and Starlight Technology. SMD ensures reliable motion detection by filtering objects. False alarms caused by pets, leaves, light and other disturbing objects are thus minimized.

The 2-series is a lighter variant than the 3-series and although this algorithm is less accurate than the current generation of WizSense, it does offer options for SMD plus and perimeter detection.

De Dahua IPC-HDW2441TM-S geeft beelden weer in een Full HD 2688×1520 resolutie. De camera heeft Dahua Starlight Technologie waardoor deze ideaal is voor toepassingen met uitdagende licht condities en beschikt over een vaste lens van 2.8 mm. Door de lichtgevoelige beeldsensor levert de camera met een minimum aan omgevingslicht nog bruikbaar kleurenbeeld, zelfs bij bijna volledige duisternis (0.008 lux).

The camera has a built-in automatic day/night IR cut filter and can also switch on the built-in IR lighting in dark conditions, providing a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a very large range of 30 meters. The camera has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions very well, such as backlight from the sun or car headlights.

Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb (not included). The camera has a built-in microphone.

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded for free from the Dahua website. The 'Documentation' tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The Dahua IPC-HDW2441TM-S-DG has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af P0E). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the 'Options' tab you can indicate whether an adapter and/or Dahua mounting bracket should be included.
The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and therefore very suitable for placing vertically against a wall.
