Description

The WL4 TD-1 is a smart temperature detector that works with the free Tuya Smart app for iOS and Android. The Smart WiFi temperature detector is used to measure the temperature and humidity in an indoor space. The temperature meter is connected to the WiFi network and no central controller, hub, remote control or subscription is required. The WL4 TD-1 can work with IFTTT, Alexa and Google Assistant.

Possibilities

The WL4 TD-1 is controlled by the free Tuya Smart app. This can be done from anywhere where a smartphone or tablet has an internet connection: from your own home or from the other side of the world. Other devices can also be managed in the (Dutch) app and it is possible to set up rooms and add (family) members. A time schedule can be set, scenes can be created and a connection with IFTTT, Alexa and Google Assistant. The big advantage of the Tuya application is that multiple (smart) devices can be added to the application.

The WL4 TD-1 measures the temperature and humidity in a room. It is possible to set temperature thresholds and humidity thresholds.
The sensors measure any changes in humidity or temperature in that room and report this directly to the Tuya application. The WL4 TD-1 also emits a buzzer. The WL4 TD-1 is often used in specific areas in homes, offices and storage areas for non-perishable products. The most used room is the central heating room.

Overall, this temperature detector provides a convenient way to obtain real-time temperature information and humidity information. The user can then take action based on the data.

The WL4 TD-1 is powered by two included 1.5V AAA batteries and has a micro USB connection. The temperature detector issues a warning when the battery level is low. Because the WL4 TD-1 can operate on batteries, it is easy to place the temperature detector anywhere. In addition, wall mounting is possible with an adhesive strip.
