The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IWG-E AcuSense is a Full HD 4MP Speeddome PTZ security camera with 25x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom, 50m IR night vision, PoE power supply and has the option to record on a microSD (not included). The camera has 120dB WDR and is suitable for outdoor use. The camera can tilt, rotate and zoom (Pan/Tilt/Zoom).

The Hikvision DS-2CD2146G2-I is part of the Hikvision AcuSense series from Hikvision. The AcuSense series cameras are advanced cameras that use deep algorithms and artificial intelligence to enable accurate intrusion detection. The cameras effectively distinguish between important movements, such as people and vehicles, and unimportant activities, such as animals or moving branches. This minimizes false alarms and provides targeted alerts, allowing for more efficient and effective monitoring.

Possibilities

The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IWG-E displays images in a Full HD 2560×1440 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 50 meters. The camera has 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to cope very well with complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The motorized 4.8 to 120mm varifocal lens makes it possible to zoom the camera in and out with a horizontal angle of view between 57.6 and 2.5 degrees. The camera has 25x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom. The camera can rotate 360 degrees endlessly and can tilt between -15 ~ 90 degrees with an auto flip function. The rotation and tilt speed is 80 degrees per second. The camera has preset, auto pattern, auto patrol and auto pan functions.

The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IWG-E, like many other cameras within the DE series, features powered-by-DarkFighter technology. This technology is specifically designed to produce clear and sharp images in low-light environments. It uses advanced sensor technology and image processing algorithms to enhance images in low light, ensuring better color reproduction, contrasts and details. This helps to enable more reliable and clear video surveillance.

The camera has smart detection such as Motion detection, video tampering alarm, line crossing detection, intrusion detection, region entrance detection, region exiting detection, unattended baggage detection and object removal detection. Images can be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR), among other things. The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 256Gb.

Hikvision has a free mobile app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IWG-E has an IP66 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. The housing of the camera is made of plastic and metal. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3at POE+). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector.
