Warranty and repair
If your product unexpectedly becomes defective, you may be able to make use of a warranty or a repair may be possible. On this page you can read information regarding warranty and repairs. To return products, you must submit an online return request at Returns (RMA) page.
Guarantee
We distinguish two types of warranty: the legal warranty and the extra warranty.
Legal guarantee
The legal guarantee means that you are always entitled to a good product. If a product is defective, you are entitled to free repair, a new product or we opt for a refund of your money. There is no legal warranty period in the Netherlands. The legislator chose this because one product simply lasts longer than the other.
You must be able to use a product for a certain period of time without any problems. How long a product should last depends on what kind of product it is and what you can expect based on, for example: information that we or the manufacturer have provided, the brand or the price.
You are not entitled to a free repair, a new product or a refund if the defect in the product is your fault or you have used the product normally but it is simply worn out.
Extra warranty (factory warranty)
An extra warranty, also called a manufacturer's warranty, is an addition to the legal warranty you already have. Sometimes you get extra warranty free of charge and sometimes the extra warranty can be purchased additionally. The additional warranty is issued by us or the manufacturer in a (warranty) statement or advertising message in which the conditions for the additional warranty are included. If the manufacturer has issued an additional warranty and you wish to rely on it, you can contact the manufacturer directly.
You can read a lot of useful information about, among other things, warranty, on the independent websites of the government, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (Consuwijzer) and the European Consumer Center (ECC) below.

Repair
If the defect is not covered by the warranty, you may still be able to have the product repaired at your own expense. As soon as repairs are made at your expense, we will contact you before you return the products to us or the manufacturer or, if we already have your defective product, before the repair takes place.
Finally
With regard to the warranty, we make no distinction between a purchase as a consumer or as a business customer. Products delivered outside the Netherlands are exclusively covered by Dutch regulations regarding warranty.
You can read all the provisions that apply to the warranty in our general terms and conditions.
