The Hikvision DS-2CD2146G2-ISU 2.8 is a 4 megapixel Full HD AcuSense vandal-resistant dome camera for outdoors with a 2.8mm fixed lens. The camera has infrared night vision, PoE power supply, 120dB WDR and the option to record images on a microSD card in the camera. The -ISU model is equipped with a microphone and audio/alarm input and output.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2146G2-ISU-B is part of the Hikvision AcuSense series from Hikvision. The AcuSense series cameras are advanced cameras that use deep algorithms and artificial intelligence to enable accurate intrusion detection. The cameras effectively distinguish between important movements, such as people and vehicles, and unimportant activities, such as animals or moving branches. This minimizes false alarms and provides targeted alerts, allowing for more efficient and effective monitoring.

Possibilities

The Hikvision DS-2CD2146G2-ISU-B displays images in Full HD 2688×1520 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, providing a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness. The IR lighting has a range of no less than 30 meters. The camera has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions very well, such as backlight from the sun or car headlights.

The camera has a fixed 2.8mm lens with a horizontal viewing angle of 103 degrees. The camera has the option to record on an SD card in the camera up to a maximum of 256Gb. Images can also be stored on a NAS/NVR.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2146G2-ISU 2.8 has an IP67 rating, making the camera ideal for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector.

The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Suitable mounting brackets are also included under the “Related” tab. The camera is manually adjustable over 3 axes. The Hikvision DS-2CD2146G2-ISU is IK10 vandal-resistant.
